Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the website aleagroupag.ch (the “Website”) and any services provided by Alea Group AG, a company incorporated under Swiss law, registered under CHE-445.359.847, with its registered office at Rue du Mont-Blanc 11, 1201 Geneva, Switzerland.
Alea Group AG is affiliated to SO-FIT as a financial intermediary within the meaning of article 2 para. 3 of the Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA). SO-FIT is a self-regulatory organization recognized by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA).
Alea operates as a Payment Service Provider (PSP) for business clients, and separately provides digital asset exchange services (VASP) to individual clients through its Exchange offering, in accordance with Swiss financial regulations.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the Website or using Alea’s services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
If you do not agree, you must immediately stop using the Website and any related services.
Services Provided
Alea provides secure infrastructure and compliance-focused digital services to business and individual clients, including:
- Payment gateway solutions
- Fraud prevention tools
- Payment processing services for merchants, including settlement through regulated partners
- Exchange services: fiat-to-crypto purchases for individual retail clients, delivered directly to the client’s own external wallet on a non-custodial basis
- Transaction monitoring and analytics dashboards
Alea does not accept deposits or maintain stored client balances. Funds handled in connection with payment transactions are processed solely for the execution and settlement of the relevant transaction. This activity does not constitute banking activity under the Swiss Banking Act (Art. 1 para. 2 BA).
Exchange Services
Alea’s Exchange service allows eligible individual clients to purchase digital assets using Swiss francs. Alea does not hold, custody, or store client digital assets: each completed order results in the purchased assets being sent to the external wallet address provided by the client. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the wallet address submitted. Digital asset transactions are irreversible; Alea cannot recall, cancel, or reverse a transfer sent to an incorrect address.
Exchange services are available exclusively to individual clients acting in a personal capacity, and are not available to legal entities. Orders are subject to identity verification and may be declined, delayed, or cancelled prior to execution for compliance, technical, or risk-related reasons.
User Eligibility & Onboarding
Access to our services requires:
- Completion of Know-Your-Customer (KYC) verification
- AML/CFT screening
- A risk assessment and internal approval
- Accurate and complete user information at all times
Alea reserves the right to deny onboarding where regulatory or risk-based criteria are not met.
For Exchange services specifically: you must be at least 18 years of age. Exchange services are intended for use within Switzerland; if you access these services from outside Switzerland, you confirm you are doing so on your own initiative, in accordance with our Reverse Solicitation Declaration.
Prohibited Use
Users are strictly prohibited from using Alea’s services for:
- Money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion
- Transactions involving illegal goods or services
- Fraud, deception, or market manipulation
- Violations of Swiss or international law
- Compromising platform integrity or security
Alea may suspend or terminate accounts without notice if unlawful or high-risk behaviour is suspected.
Regulatory Compliance
Alea complies with all relevant Swiss regulations, including:
- Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA)
- FINMA Anti-Money Laundering Ordinance (AMLO-FINMA)
- Swiss Data Protection Act (revFADP, 2023)
- Financial Services Act (FinSA), where applicable
- SO-FIT rules, circulars, and guidelines
All transactions may be monitored and reported to Swiss authorities where required.
Liability Disclaimer
Alea aims to provide reliable and secure services but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Alea is not liable for:
- Service interruptions due to maintenance, outages, or force majeure
- Data loss caused by external or third-party events
- User errors, negligence, or misuse
- Financial or reputational harm arising from improper platform use
Users access and use services at their own risk.
Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, text, software, and media on the Website are owned by Alea or licensed third parties.
No content may be copied, reproduced, or redistributed without prior written permission.
Privacy and Data Protection
Alea processes personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP, 2023).

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed exclusively by Swiss law.
Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the ordinary courts of Geneva, Switzerland, unless mandatory legal provisions state otherwise.
