Alea implements strong security and reliability controls, but no system is entirely risk-free. Services are provided “as is”, without warranty of uninterrupted availability, performance, or security.
Technological Risk
- System outages, cyberattacks, or infrastructure failure
- Delays in payment processing or settlement
Regulatory Risk
- Changes in Swiss or foreign financial regulations
- Restrictions or bans on virtual assets or payment systems in certain jurisdictions
Financial Risk
- Price volatility when interacting with third-party asset gateways
- Counterparty risk when using external providers (banks, PSPs, exchanges)
Operational Risk
- Errors or omissions in user input
- Misuse or theft of account credentials
Digital Asset Risk
- Digital assets are volatile, and their value can fall as well as rise
- Blockchain transactions are irreversible — once assets are sent to a wallet address, they cannot be recalled
- You are solely responsible for the accuracy of any wallet address you provide; Alea cannot recover or reverse a transfer sent to an incorrect address
- Digital assets are not legal tender in Switzerland and are not covered by any deposit protection or investor compensation scheme

Alea Group AG is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, business interruption, or data loss.
